FAMELAB
De UvA en de VU organiseerden 26 februari 2016 gezamenlijk de eerste Amsterdamse voorronde van FameLab, een internationale competitie in wetenschapscommunicatie. 21 deelnemers tussen de 21-40 jaar, Phd'er en/of Post Doc gingen gedreven de uitdaging aan om hun onderzoek te presenteren voor een breed publiek en professionele jury....in slechts drie minuten.
The Famelab Amsterdam heat 2016 was jointly organised by the science faculties of the Vrije Universiteit and Universiteit van Amsterdam. The two winners of the Amsterdam heat continue to the National Finals of the Famelab competition on 22 April 2016. 
It would be more efficient to extract the alcohol from the beer and drink that instead. A classical way of doing this is destillation.
